Trucking: Pilot Flying J and Bunker Labs Partner to Empower Military Veteran Entrepreneurs

In honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Pilot Flying J is donating $125,000 to Bunker Labs, a national not-for-profit organization headquartered in Chicago and built by military veteran entrepreneurs to empower other military veterans to start and grow businesses. Pilot Flying J’s founder and chairman, Mr. James A Haslam II, is also a veteran who completed service in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, including deployment to Korea.  Read more here.

Trucking: Brokers Issue Forecasts for Heartland Express, Inc.’s FY2018 Earnings (HTLD)

Heartland Express, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTLD) – Analysts at KeyCorp dropped their FY2018 earnings per share estimates for shares of Heartland Express in a research note issued to investors on Sunday. KeyCorp analyst T. Fowler now forecasts that the transportation company will post earnings per share of $0.65 for the year, down from their prior estimate of $0.85.  Read more here.
